Installation Instructions
-
Ensure surface and air temperature is above 10°C (50°F). Avoid applying in direct sunlight or high humidity.
-
Clean the surface using a suitable cleaner or rubbing alcohol. For glass or plastics, use a standard cleaner; for metal, use a solvent like naphtha. Wipe completely dry with a lint-free cloth.
-
Hold the bear hunter decal against the surface to check positioning. Use tape to temporarily hold it in place along the midpoint as a hinge.
-
Peel back one half of the decal from the wax backing up to the hinge and cut the backing away.
-
If using application fluid, lightly spray the surface now.
-
While holding the decal taut, use a squeegee to press it onto the surface, starting at the hinge and moving outward.
-
Repeat the process for the remaining side.
-
Squeegee from the center out to remove bubbles and moisture.
-
Slowly peel off the top transfer tape layer at a 160° angle. If any vinyl lifts, press it back down with the tape and re-squeegee.
-
If bubbles remain, use saved backing paper to cover the decal and gently press out bubbles with the squeegee. For stubborn bubbles, use a pin to release the air and press flat.
